I have in my hands two boxes,
which God gave me to hold.
He said, “put all your sorrows in the black,
and all your joys in the gold.

I heeded his words, and in the two boxes,
both my joys and sorrows I store.
But though the gold became heavier each day,
the black was as light as before.

With curiosity I opened the black,
I wanted to find out why.
And I saw in the base of the box a hole,
which my sorrows had fallen out by.

I showed the hole to God, and mused aloud,
I wonder where my sorrows could be.
He smiled a gentle smile at me,
my child they’re all here with me.

I asked, “God, why give me the boxes,
why the gold and black with the hole?”
“My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings,
the black is for you to let go.”

Jesus. Sweet, sweet Jesus. And I will take over from there.”

I cannot bear to see My children so heavily in sin and in their hurt.

It pains Me so to see My children wallow in the dirt.”

I long to hold My children to My breast.

I long for them to know My love and have My best.

I long for you to return My love as I love you.

You don’t seem to understand, our visits are so few.

LET ME OUT!

Your neighbor is searching for something; they know not what

They need

Nothing will satisfy their longing until on Me they feed.

LET ME OUT!

Speak My Word. Let I be heard. Say ’it is written’.

And the enemy of yours and theirs will be smitten.

LET ME OUT!

To raise the dead, heal the sick and love the lost.

Let Me out! I PAID THE COST, MY CHILD. LET ME OUT!

When I say…  ’I am a Christian’
I don’t speak of this with pride.
I’m confessing that  I stumble
And need Christ to be my guide.

When I say… ‘I am a  Christian’
I’m not trying to be strong.
I’m professing that I’m  weak
And need His strength to carry on.

When I say… ‘I am a  Christian’
I’m not bragging of success.
I’m admitting I have  failed
And need God to clean my mess.

When I say… ‘I am a  Christian’
I’m not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too  visible,
But God believes I am worth it.

When I say… ‘I am a  Christian’
I still feel the sting of pain..
I have my share of  heartaches,
So I call upon His name.

When I say… ‘I am a  Christian’
I’m not holier than thou,
I’m just a simple sinner

Celestial Wings Of Prayer

As softly as the dove doth fly
Across this land so free
As steadfast as a ship that sails
Across a tranquil sea.

As soothing as a summer rain
That falls upon the ground
As wondrous as a drop of dew
In morning light, is found.

As tender as a baby’s kiss
Upon a mother’s cheek
As sturdy as a father’s hands
Whose strength we often seek.

As lovely as a blooming rose
Upon a climbing vine
As steady as the heart that beats
Within this breast of mine.

As humble as a beggar’s plea
Upon a listening ear
As caring as the one who kindly
Wipes away a tear.

As fragile as a new born colt
Who tries to find his way
As graceful as a stately swan
One fine September day.

As gentle as the rush of wings
Of angels bound in flight
As sacred as the eastern star
That shone one holy night.

As vital as the Book of Life
You’ll find a refuge there
As precious as the Lamb of God
The celestial wings of prayer.

Pushing and shoving

Any and all who get in our way

Never taking a moment

To simply speak when you pass

Or to let someone else go first

As if it would hurt to be last

What’s wrong with the world

We can’t slow our pace

As if it’s a never-ending line

If we move we’d lose our space

Slow down my people

Enjoy the moment of each day

Inhale – exhale

Take a few moments out for play

Stop and smell the roses

Go for a walk in the park

Watch an overwhelming sunset

As the day turns to dark

Then look above

As the moon slowly rises

To mingle with the stars

That illuminates the skies

Embrace the beauty

God made all these things just for you

Is this how you thank him

By rushing – ignoring the view

Well, I shall embrace each moment

Watch the clouds as they float by

Picturesque are the shapes

That outlines the sky

Watch the trees as the limbs sway

Their leaves dance in the breeze

I shall truly absorb all of this magnificence

That my mind can possibly capture and seize

Hold and embrace the moment

If you didn’t – when it’s gone it’s truly lost

For that moment of contemplation

Absolutely nothing would have been your cost

Limited only by my soul

For, if I open wide my heart

I can see the more

I can see beyond to all I keep

The wonder, mine to view

I can feel it deep within you

The eternal now, inside of me

I see from peace I know

There is a life of everlasting joy

To have, to really own

I comprehend, I sit in heaven

From now, until forever

Reflected in the breezes soft

Each pretty, whatsoever

I can see, I hear

In the singing of the birds

The opening of each bloom

In God’s eternal word

I can see, I revel

In the beauty of His earth

The safety of His love

The blessings of re-birth

I can see, His love within your soul

The loveliness you are

My friend, now until forever-

Dear unto my heart

Teardrops from angels,
The rays from the sun,
When crossed it’s amazing
For what they become…

Together they form
The most beautiful sight
We see all of the colors
Of God’s heavenly light.

There’ve been many storms,
Rainbows, I’ve seen a few;
But then I learned something
That I never knew…

The most beautiful rainbow
That I ever did see
Was the one that made me realize
“That’s God smiling at me!”

I just had to write to tell you how much I love you and care for you.
